Our Cause

Our "What" and "Why?"

We provide the “platform” to which individuals from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds connect with each other through the arts.

iN Education’s Battle of the Teal – 4EDU is an annual, action-packed art program that showcases the hard work and dedication of visual and performing artists. As an outcome of our year-round promotion of the arts, this program builds a platform for young, emerging artists who wish to develop in the arts of their selected form, boost their confidence levels, and experience what it’s like to present their masterpieces and/or themselves in front of a live audience!

As we bring awareness to higher education possibilities in the arts, the Battle of the Teal program connects youth with industry professionals, like-minded peers, art enthusiasts, organizations, and colleges throughout Northeast Ohio. With professional-level expertise, rising artists are able to add to their portfolio, improve self-esteem, and strengthen their hard and soft skills through a series of program art activities.

Active learning and education is the heart of everything we do and behind all things, we come across. Education reinforces overall performance, technique, and style when an artist takes the stage and performs. The same thing is true for visual artists, for when students create their final piece of art it reflects their personality, mood, skills, and creativity. This event promotes the importance of continuous education, increase awareness of the arts, encourage and harness the collective power of the industry, and to create a positive social impact.

Logic will take you from A to B. Imagination will take you everywhere.

Thank you for having me and my family attend this special event.

All proceeds go toward providing scholarships and prizes for all competition finalists and for the sustainability of the program into the future.

I met a lot of cool people last night – and I picked first and second place correctly. Lol! My favorite was the poet – to think like that and have that emotional range at 16 – was mind blowing. I had a wonderful time meeting all those folks; the professionals and the amateurs both. It was a huge learning experience too. Thanks for the opportunity – smiles
